Promises vs Actions

A promise is defined as a "legally binding declaration that gives the person to whom it is made a right to expect or to claim the performance or forbearance of a specified act." (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

Every presidential candidate makes promises over the course of their campaign, but Trump's tendency to play fast and loose with facts, and his audiences, led to journalists compiling lists of his promises outside of his Contract with the American Voter. The Washington Post’s Jenna Johnson’s list runs to 282 promises

This page will document the actions Trump takes as opposed to the promises he made on the campaign trail.
